"I've been to quite a few of the makeup studios in Portland and I really like Fez the best. I first called Fez Studio on New Year's day just to see if they were open. Turns our they were closed but Fez answered the phone anyway and said to feel free to stop by. He did a great job of analyzing my skin and also did a beautiful makeover for me that day. I love the skin care and cosmetic products he carries and am loving how my skin looks every day. If you want to find someone who cares more about how you look then he does selling you all the product he can then this is the place to go. Very highly recommended."

I LOVE FEZ
"I needed a new makeup "look", so I visited Fez's store about three months ago. OMG, I was so blown away. He spent over two hours with me finding just the right colors and teaching me how to apply my new makeup. I didn't use to wear makeup much because I never felt like I was putting it on correctly. Now I do my makeup every morning and love how it looks!
I've also been using Fez's skin care line. I've used a lot of high-end products over the year and this is the best ever. Plus, someone was sure that I was only 27 the other way - and I'm actually almost 40!
You won't find a snooty attitude here - Fez is about as nice as nice can be. And you'll walk out feeling beautiful! I've been to a lot of skin care boutiques all over the world and Fez Studio is at the top of my list."

"I recently visited Fez Studio in the Pearl district to play around with several cosmetic lines that are not carried anywhere else in Portland. My visit was exceptional! Fez was polite and welcoming when I entered his beautiful, soothing space full of unique perfumes, hard to find skin care lines, and colorful cosmetics. Fez was full of information and was able to answer every question I had regarding the skincare lines in his studio. My skin has a tendency to be sensitive so Fez recommended certain products that would benefit my skin type. He even sent me home with some samples to ensure that my skin would not react to the products.
I have been back several times....I have recommended Fez Studio to several friends and everyone has thanked me for letting them in on my beauty secret.

"I love Fez Studio for many reasons.
Mainly it gives me a chance to be all giiiiirly. Plus it allows me to embrace the younger part of me that ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS wanted one of those creepy Barbie heads that you put the makeup on. (come on...they WERE a little creepy!)
But Fez is awesome because not only is the selection of products pretty damn impressive, but also because you get to play with EVERYTHING.
Go in and get a consultation and see what works for you, or just admire all the glittery eye shadows to choose from.
I have always had really crappy makeup that I deemed acceptable while running through the Rite-Aid in a rush for allergy meds, so when I say I was floored by this place I mean it. Figuring out how to apply bronzer was never high on my list of to dos, but i discovered something when I went here...it's really fun. The store is a sea of colors. Tables filled with little jars and pots of glosses and greatness. It's so pretty and tempting my inner-girly girl was jumping up and down with glee!
Fez has done professional make up for many photo shoots and celebrities, so he know he shiz. He showed me how to use brushes and tools of various sizes and gave me lots of tips so I could recreate all of the magic we created. Awesome.
Anyway Fez himself is really the reason to go, because he loves people and is super excited to join you in your kid-in-a-candy-store experience in there. He loooves it. It made me feel like I was 12 again and at a sleepover during makeover time. He is full of good ideas, will be straight with you about stuff and not try to give you the hard sell, and mostly is just too damn nice. :)
In a nutshell. I love this place.
Screw the Barbie head. This is waaay more fun.

"In Short: Fez is an expert on skin & makeup, modest, fun, humble. I wholeheartedly recommend his shop if you need makeup application, skin care products, or a consultation on your skin.
In Long: This weekend I had a trial bridal makeup session with Fez to see if I wanted to hire him to do makeup at my wedding in 2 weeks. Fez ended up spending 2 hours and 45 minutes with me and my aunt, and although the makeup he did was beautiful, what he did for us was so much more than a simple makeup application. He did in-depth consultations with each of us on the condition of our skin and gave us recommendations on how to make it better, in terms of what to eat etc. as well as which products to use. My skin worried him--it was flaky so he was not happy with the way the foundation was going on. So he took off all the makeup I had on, used a bunch of products on my skin to make it even, and then applied the makeup, which of course looked 100 times better. I asked him for recommendations on products and he was so nice, never pushing me to buy anything (and in fact saying, "you don't need that really" or "that is too much money for you to spend" multiple times). I used the products last night and this morning, and my skin already looks better--it is less flaky and more smooth. Yay Fez! I'll write another review once he does the makeup for the bridal party at my wedding. I'm sure it will be great! He can really make a person feel special, and beautiful.

Fez did the makeup for my wedding and I LOVED it! Everyone thought he was a lot of fun too. He did makeup for about 15 people, I think, in total, and everyone looked fantastic. He helped me relax and have a good time and was extremely professional. I recommend him extremely highly for event makeup.
